The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will host a Public Information Meeting to review the proposed Safety and Drainage Improvements along US Route 20 and NY Route 5 from the 5 & 20 split to the bridge over Cattaraugus Creek.  The Safety Improvements include a road diet that will reduce the lanes from four lanes (two lanes in each direction) to 3 lanes (one lane in each direction with a center turn lane) as well as drainage improvements throughout the corridor.  The signals will be replaced at the 5 & 20 split and at the intersection of US Route 20/NY Route 5 and Allegany Road. 

The Public Information Meeting will be held on: Tuesday August 22, 2023, from 4-6 PM
